The wait is over! We have created a ✨️GoFundMe✨️ account to make donating easier.

Later this year, during the summer, our team plans to carry research on the wildlife of the Isle of Harris. This includes projects on bees 🐝 and the unique Scottish machair 🌼, dog whelks 🐚, wader birds 🦆, and the elusive otter 🦦

In the mean time, we are working to design rigorous studies and bring everyone enjoyable fundraisers.

Our new GoFundMe page will allow our generous friends and family to help support us further. All of us on the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Remote Scotland Expedition 22/23 team appreciate and are grateful to everyone who is helping us reach our goals🌟

Hi! I’m Kirsty, and I’m one of the grand coordinators this year! I’m a first year Molecular and Cellular biology student. I can’t wait to help out with all the projects. My favourite road trip song is probably Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd or Many of Horror - Biffy Clyro. My fav animals are dolphins (hopefully we will see some in Harris!) and sloths (less likely to see any of them!). My fav place I have traveled is Athens or USA!

Hi I’m Claire and I’m one of the grant coordinators this year. I am super excited to be a part of such a great team and to get to explore Harris. This will be my first time in the Outer Hebrides and I am hoping for an otter sighting or two! When I’m not basking in that blazing Scottish sun, I will be leading a project looking at the bumblebee populations on Harris. I’m buzzin!😏🐝
