Last Week at the DASH Club 📸

On Tuesday, our young adults enjoyed a mix of pool and dryside activities 🏊

On Wednesday, our drama group explored more games and stories using the characters they have created based on their favourite animals 🐧.

On Thursday, our young adults enjoyed their trampoline session, with games and art alongside 🎨.

Some highlights from this week at the DASH Club 📸

We have photos from Wednesday, when our young adults at the drama session enjoyed animal-themed stories and games. The photos show the many animals they tried to imitate and all the fun they had 🐒 🕊️!

There are also photos from our Thursday session, where some young adults enjoyed the start of Autumn outdoors, watching and collecting the leaves which were falling 🍂 🍁. We also have photos from the activities indoors, including the fun our young adults had during the trampoline therapy!

Highlights from last week at the DASH Club ✨

We have some photos from Tuesday where our young adults enjoyed some dryside activities including games and the trampoline 🏀

On our Wednesday drama session, the young adults enjoyed music and storytelling activities 🎵📖

During our Thursday session, the young adults enjoyed trampoline, games and enjoying the sunshine in the playground outside ☀️

First week of the DASH Club Academic year 2026/27 🎉

After letting the young adults settle into school for the first few weeks of the new academic term, this week the DASH Club started our sessions again.

On Tuesday, the young adults went for a walk along Hogganfield Park as the pool was unavailable 🚶‍➡️🌳.

On Wednesday, the drama group had a fun session of different games to get the young adults prepared for the new story project for the term 🎭.

On Thursday, the young adults enjoyed their favourite activities of trampoline and massage 💆. Some new young adults were welcomed during this session.

DASH Summer Programme 2026 ☀️- Day 9 (Fri) Final Day

On Friday, our summer programme came to an end as we celebrated by hiring a bouncy castle for the young adults to enjoy 🏰, alongside inviting the families of our young adults to join us for a BBQ party 🍖🍔!

Our guests and young adults enjoyed food cooked by DASH Staff alongside amazing food which was brought by some families of our young adults too (Thanks again for the Biyrani and Pakora 😋)!

Our DASH Gazebo provided shade for our young adults and their guests when they were outside, and we also had outdoor archery, which was enjoyed by many 🏹!

It was another successful programme, as seen by the many smiles and young adults in all of our activities!

We look forward to welcoming our young adults back for the 2026/27 academic year in August! Until then, we hope all our staff, young adults and their families enjoy the remaining summer break!

DASH Summer Programme 2026 ☀️- Day 8 (Thu)

On Thursday, we had our final outing to Castle Semple.

Castle Semple has been an annual favourite outing in the DASH Summer Programmes due to the variety of activities offered, which the young adults have enjoyed each year!

This year was also a success, as our young adults loved trips on the paddle and speed boats 🚤, trips around the area on the bikes and walks around the loch 🚴‍♀️.

DASH Summer Programme 2026 ☀️- Day 6 (Tue)

On Tuesday, we had a hybrid day of outings and base day activities.

Our base activities involved swimming, trampoline and dance 🏊‍♂️. We also had a cake cutting to celebrate the birthdays of a staff member and one of the young adults 🎂.

In the morning, a group of our young adults went to Platform in Easterhouse, to enjoy a lighthouse show which was interactive and was loved by the group!

In the afternoon, a large group of young adults went to Cuningar Loop and enjoyed walks and the play park 🌳🛝.
