Support Unpaid Carers in North Ayrshire & Arran

The theme for carers week 2026 is “Building carer friendly communities” and local businesses have a key role to play.

Unpaid carers provide vital support to loved ones experiencing illness, disability, mental health challenges, addiction, and more—often while facing financial pressures themselves.

The North Ayrshire Carers Appreciation Card is a simple but powerful way to make a difference:
Exclusive discounts, offers, and concessions for carers
Supporting communities across North Ayrshire & Arran
40+ businesses already involved and growing

We’re inviting more businesses to join us during Carers Week and beyond.

There are flexible ways to take part:
• Offer discounts
• Provide free or taster sessions
• Create priority access
• Or design an offer that works for your business

By getting involved, you’re helping to create a more inclusive, supportive and carer-friendly community.
Flexible • Supportive • Community-focused

We’re proud to celebrate the first Power of Attorney (POA) Day in Scotland 💙

At Unity Enterprise, we know how important it is to plan ahead and make sure the right support is in place for the future. Our latest video highlights why having a Power of Attorney matters and how it can give peace of mind to both carers and those they support.

A huge thank you to the Carers Gateway Champions Board and Billy Kirkwood for their support in helping bring this message to life 👏
