Eid Al Adha Mubarak from Wheels to Heal.

*During the week of Hajj Wheels to Heal volunteers have also been sacrificing their time and effort for those much less fortunate than ourselves.*

*Not one but two* 40ft containers loaded and on their way to Syria.

From Glasgow and Luton/London and working with Action for Humanity and Rethink - over 1500 life transforming items being put back into use and avoiding landfill.

Recently, a Wheels to Heal volunteer took *30 crutches to Mauritania*, where disabled people had been asking for them — many with no access, no means to afford them, or relying on unsafe equipment.

*That one act has grown into something bigger.*

We are now working on shipping a full mobility, disability and medical aid container — but we need £4,500 to get it there.

*Our first container to Zimbabwe was successfully loaded in early May 2026 from Birmingham.* Working in partnership with C.A.T. (Community Action Trust UK) the two sets of volunteers showed what true collaboration looks like – _teamwork really did make the dream work._

But it doesn’t. Every single wheelchair, walker, and aid we collect is the result of a massive human effort. Behind every one of our *196 record-breaking pickups* this quarter is a mountain of invisible work.

Before a van even starts its engine, our team handles:

📞 *70+ Phone calls*
📱 *100+ WhatsApps and texts*

Right now, this incredible volume of coordination is carried by just *two people.* It’s an amazing feat, but to make this mission truly sustainable, we need to grow our "engine room."
