🇬🇭 Update

The team have been spending time at the cocoa farms. We will be hopefully bringing the beans over to Scotland from this years harvest from these exact farms.

Fun facts

🍫 It takes 4 to 5 years for the cocoa pods to grew from cocoa trees
🍫 A tree can produce around 30 pods
🍫 A pod can contain around 35 cocoa beans

Can’t wait to hear about the impact of, and the learning from, this experience.

🇬🇭 Update 🇬🇭

The group have been working hard on the community centre and library. Despite the heat and humidity everyone is full of fun and spirits are high! 🤩

Everyone is now getting used to the daily routines which are slightly different than at home 🕰️

0700 - Breakfast
0800 - Time for work! One half working on the library and the other the Leadership Academy
1230 - Lunch and rest
1530 - activities with the children and young people at after school club
1830 - Dinner and debrief discussion
