Another great visit to Euro Auctions in September!

SPOA members Deeside Construction Limited, BSpoke Solutions, ANM Group Ltd, PortRail Group, Currie Contractors and Sibbald Training all enjoyed the trip.

John Sibbald of Sibbald Training said: “My first visit to a live auction day at Euro Auctions was a hugely impressive experience. The team made us feel very welcome and gave us a valuable insight into the auction process and customer experience.

“The sheer volume and variety of assets on offer is remarkable; there really is something to interest everyone. The energy and excitement when the auctions get underway is exhilarating, and I would thoroughly recommend experiencing a live auction day for yourself.”

It is with great sadness that the Scottish Plant Owners Association advises members of the passing of Gordon Bow, Past President of SPOA and founder of Gordon Bow Plant Hire.

Gordon was a highly respected and much-valued member of the Scottish plant industry, and his contribution to SPOA over many years will be remembered with great appreciation.

As a Past President, Gordon played an important role in the Association and was a passionate supporter of its work and its members. He was a familiar and well-respected figure within our industry, known for his warmth, enthusiasm and commitment to supporting the plant community.

Gordon’s involvement with SPOA extended beyond his time as President, and he continued to take a keen interest in the Association and the people within it. His knowledge, experience and friendship will be greatly missed by colleagues, friends and fellow members.

On behalf of the Scottish Plant Owners Association, our sincere condolences go to Gordon’s family, friends and all those who knew and worked alongside him.
