Every young person has a vital spark within them - a unique potential waiting to be seen, nurtured and set alight. Through encouragement, empathy, and belief, you can become the catalyst that ignites the vital spark. By nurturing this spark, help young people to find the confidence to pursue their passions, believe in themselves, and confront their challenges. But the beauty of this idea is that t

he transformation flows both ways. By helping a young person uncover their inner light, you too may discover something powerful within yourself - a renewed sense of purpose, compassion and connection. Our award-winning mentoring programme believes in the power of connection, communication and the overall transformational potential of mentoring in school and community settings. We match adult volunteer mentors from all walks of life, careers and experiences with young people experiencing a range of challenging circumstances, to build confidence, overcome obstacles, awaken ambition and much more. Just one hour a week can ignite the vital spark in a young person, helping them find a path to positive futures. Be the difference in ensuring young people don’t have to navigate life’s toughest challenges alone. Together, let’s spark ambition and change lives through mentoring.

🏫 | As schools, further education, and community groups open their doors for a brand new year, young people are starting to think about the qualifications they'll need to achieve or how to find that extra bit of confidence to believe in their potential.

A new term brings fresh opportunities, but it can also bring uncertainty. That is where a trusted adult volunteer mentor makes all the difference.

A volunteer mentor is not a teacher or a tutor. They are simply a friendly, encouraging, and reliable trusted adult who gives just one hour a week to listen and help a young person build self-belief.

By spending 1 hour a week with a young person in your local area, you can help them navigate the year with confidence.
