Meet Lindsay, one of our food pickups volunteers!

Lindsay goes out to our partner supermarkets every Friday morning to pick up any surplus food that we can redistribute in The Pyramid Shop.

We are still looking for a volunteer to help with our Thursday collections, could this be you?!

Follow the link in our bio for more information on the role and how to get in touch!

A community fridge is a space that brings people together to prevent fresh food from going to waste. They redistribute surplus food from supermarkets, local food businesses, producers, households and gardens. Community fridges are open to all.

Our Community Fridge opening times are:
Monday 9:30am-12pm
Wednesday 2pm-4pm
Thursday 3:30pm-6pm
Friday 3pm-4:30pm

First come, first serve! Contents will vary.
Please be mindful of other people when taking items, and do not add anything into the fridges.

We have had a communication from FareShare, our major supplier, that due to unforeseen circumstances they will not be able to deliver our usual stock this week or next.

The shop will still be open this week but running with reduced stock. Your basket’s worth of food (if you take an item from each section) will still be guaranteed to be worth over £5. And as always, we maintain the same value of items across all our opening hours.

We will however have to close the shop next week on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd of May.

We will keep you informed of any developments going forward. Please let us know if you have any queries or concerns.
