Thank you to everyone who has donated instruments to Music Broth recently!

Thanks to your generosity and the massive repair & refurbishment efforts by our team of staff & volunteers, hundreds of musical instruments are being enjoyed affordably throughout Scotland!

Violins have been particularly popular recently, so we're delighted to have another to refurbish, process and release into the library!

The most recent block of adult & youth drum workshops at Music Broth just finished with a bang! 🥳🥁

Thank you to all of the amazing drummers who took part throughout the sessions! All 29 of you this time round!!! Wow! 😃

Saturday was a very fun, very noisy day where some of our drummers showed off the skills they've been working on.
Whether you performed at the end-of-block showcase or not, we are so proud of everyone who took part! ❤️
You have been the friendliest, most supportive groups of people, and an absolute joy to teach.

There's something special about lots of drummers all in the same room together!

Whether you were back for your 5th workshop block with us, or learning drums for the first time ever, we hope you had loads of fun!

Our May volunteer of the month is Derek

Derek's gentle, kind, and highly skilled presence in the Music Broth Library has put a lot of previously broken instruments onto the shelves for people to enjoy!
Derek is always sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for music and community, and has helped many other volunteers to build their skills and confidence.

This volunteer week we want to thank all of the amazing crew of volunteers who make it possible for hundreds of people all around Scotland to access music affordably!

Whether that's instrument repairs, processing new donations, welcoming people into the library, building guitar stands, helping with outreach events or just being there for each other.

At Music Broth we are so lucky to have the best crew using their time and skills to make the world a better, more musical place!
