⚓ Our Juniors recruits (with some help from the old hands!) were learning about the BB Motto and emblem tonight as they work towards their Juniors Membership Award.

They had great fun trying to recreate the anchor using anything they could find in the BB cupboard! We think they did a pretty good job 👏. What do you think?

Next week, they'll be finding out about the BB around the world. 🌍

We also had time for more getting-to-know-you games (Would You Rather? and Question Jenga), and Spin the Wheel which tonight gave us dodgeball 🏐 and king ball 👑.

⚽ Well done to our Company Section 5-a-side team at tonight's Partick District competition.

Our young team gave a great account of themselves, picking up a win and finishing 4th overall. Well done Boys! 👏

Thanks to the organisers and well done to 130th Glasgow Boys' Brigade who ran out as worthy winners. 🙌

⚽ It was straight into competition action tonight for our Juniors at the Partick District 5-a-sides at Scotstoun.

After 90 minutes of frenetic football and goals aplenty, our A team were crowned champions 🏆, while our B team did themselves proud with most of them playing in this event for the first time.

Best of all was the sportsmanship on display from all our players, encouraging each other and their opponents throughout. Well done Boys - you can all be proud of your efforts!

🏆🏅 Last week was Awards Week at the 135! 🏅🏆

We had a brilliant time last Thursday and Friday celebrating our wonderful young people and everything they have achieved over the BB year.

🙌 On Thursday, we focussed on our Superhero Anchors and Juniors, who paraded their superpowers for all to see, with singing, games and lots of fun, topped off by awarding of badges, medals and trophies to very deserving recipients. Well done each and every one of you! 👏🏅

🎥 On Friday, our Company Section and Seniors brought us another episode of The One Three Five Show, featuring bakers, quizzers, sports reporters, truth-tellers (and some liars...) and a Captain's Takeaway. The Boys worked really hard to present the story of their BB year, and it was plain to see what a talented, engaged and committed group of young people we have in the 135!

🏆 We were delighted to announce individual award winners and Best Squads in all 3 Sections, and to recognise this year's crop of King's Men - 6 in all - along with 1 President's Badge recipient. Special congratulations to Aiden, Milo, Seb, Jamie, Calum and Rory, and all the best to Alex as he embarks on his own King's Badge journey.

We extend grateful thanks to our Guest Mr Brian McAlinden, President of Glasgow Battalion, The Boys' Brigade, for your kind words and for the gracious way in which you presented our awards.

We are so privileged to work with all these brilliant young people week by week, and to see them grow and develop from their first steps in Anchors all the way through to the Brigade's highest award is the biggest thrill for the leaders. 💙⚓️
