We're pleased to announce our chief executive, Nicky Reid, has been shortlisted in the Not for Profit CEO of the Year category at the Scottish Women’s Awards.

Since joining the SPFL Trust more than a decade ago, Nicky has led our charity through a period of sustainable growth, strengthening our governance and expanding the reach of our work across Scotland. She continues to lead delivery of our ambitious five-year plan, with a focus on supporting 50 per cent more people and expanding our work with young people and football-related trusts across the country.

We send the best of luck to all the fellow finalists ahead of the event, which takes place on 30 September at The DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow City Centre.

Livingston FC, West Lothian Community Foundation and The SPFL Trust have joined forces to bring the 4-4-2 Reading Challenge to children and families across West Lothian.

The national literacy initiative uses the appeal of Scottish football to encourage children aged 5–12 to read four books, visit their local library and discover the enjoyment that reading can offer.

Delivered in partnership with Ferrero UK - Joy of Moving is a national school-based programme helping children across Scotland get active through play.

Working with our club partners, Celtic, Hearts and Rangers, the programme combines physical activity with classroom learning - supporting young people to build confidence, develop key life skills and understand the importance of nutrition, hydration and healthy habits.

Together, we’re reaching thousands of children across Scotland - helping them discover the joy of movement in a way that works for them.

Because when children enjoy moving, they move more ⚽💙
