August has been all about meeting our amazing supporters and celebrating their fundraising successes. ✨

Finishing the week on a high, today we're shining a spotlight on Edinburgh Medics' Reveal , who have achieved the incredible fundraising milestone of £250,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust. 👏

This remarkable achievement is the result of years of hard work, dedication and generosity. Thank you for being such valued supporters and for making such a difference to the lives of young people facing cancer. 💙

A huge thank you to Susan, Tony and all the amazing staff at The Three Churches - aka Garthland Arms for raising an incredible £14,205.40 at their annual Summer Jam Weekend! 💙👏

This fantastic achievement brings their total fundraising amount to an outstanding £56,751.74 since 2019.👏

It was a real pleasure to thank them in person at the cheque presentation and celebrate the incredible difference their support is making.✨

This will help Teenage Cancer Trust to provide specialist care and support for young people facing cancer across Scotland. Their generosity helps ensure that teenagers and young adults don't have to face cancer alone, receiving the support they need at one of the most challenging times of their lives.

A big thank you to FiFab for their generous £1,000 donation to Teenage Cancer Trust from their charity golf day.

Our Relationship Manager Charlotte, had a lovely afternoon at Dunnikier Park Golf Club for the cheque presentation and enjoyed hearing from all the wonderful charities they have supported.

We are so grateful for FiFab's continued support over the years. Every donation helps us be there for young people facing cancer, providing the specialist care and support they need during the toughest of times.

🌟 Spotlight on our Youth Support Coordinators ✨

Our Youth Support Coordinator, Nicola regularly organises peer support events through our Teenage Cancer Trust's unit in Edinburgh. Thanks to support from the RSPB Scotland Nature Connections Officer, as part of the NHS Lothian Charity Green Health Program, she has been able to arrange guided nature walks, providing young people with opportunities to connect with other's facing cancer, building friendships, while enjoying the well-recognised health benefits of getting creative and exploring the outdoors.

Thank you to everyone who supports Teenage Cancer Trust . Your generosity helps us create opportunities like these, giving young people with cancer the chance to connect with others, build friendships and enjoy moments away from treatment and hospital appointments. 💙

Celebrations are in order! 🎉

A huge congratulations and thank you to the amazing Debs for raising over £10,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust by cycling all the way from Aberdeen to Edinburgh! 🚴‍♀️

Gardening provided Debs with the strength, comfort and hope she needed while her daughter was receiving treatment at our Teenage Cancer Trust unit in Edinburgh. She chose to honour that journey by visiting 60 gardens along her route... co-ordinating her very own Pedals to Petals cycle challenge!👏

It was an absolute pleasure to celebrate with you along with your friends and family at the finish line. Our Youth Support Coordinator, Nicola, was also delighted to be there to congratulate you and recognise the impact your fundraising will have on young people with cancer.

Every mile cycled and every pound raised will help us continue supporting young people when they need it most. 💚

Thank you, Debs for turning a deeply personal story into such an inspiring challenge. We're incredibly proud of everything you've achieved and so grateful to have supported you on this very special fundraising journey. ✨

As a Lead Volunteer, you could:
💙 Be the main point of contact for our volunteer cheer squad at challenge events
💙 Secure collection dates in your local community
💙 Support and motivate fundraising volunteers at events
💙 Help ensure everything runs smoothly on the day

This is a flexible role that can fit around your existing commitments, and full training and support are provided, so no previous experience is needed.

Lead volunteers play a vital role in helping us raise funds and awareness so that no young person faces cancer alone. ✨

Whether you're looking to meet new people, develop leadership skills, gain experience, or give back to your community, we'd love to hear from you.
