The GUVMA Rodeo is a charity fundraiser takes place every easter at the Garscube Estate in Glasgow. The event is hosted by the Glasgow University Veterinary Medical Association. The event is organized by vet students to raise money for animal welfare-related organizations and is the University of Glasgow's Largest charity event! The GUVMA Rodeo aims to provide a day of fun and entertainment for th

e entire family, while supporting charitable causes. The event provides an opportunity for commercial businesses, local companies, and charities to interact and communicate with a wide audience comprising of students and families from the local area and beyond. The previous year's Rodeo raised £9,000.00 for charity, and our committee is working hard to ensure another successful Rodeo!

Our Story

The Glasgow University Veterinary Medical Association (GUVMA) Rodeo is organised by a committee of third, second and first year students at the School of Veterinary Medicine and is the University of Glasgow’s largest charity event. The GUVMA Rodeo aims to provide a day of fun and entertainment for all the family, while supporting charitable causes related to animal welfare. The event provides an opportunity for commercial organisations, local businesses and charities to interact and communicate with a wide audience comprising of students and families from the local area and beyond.
