Today marks a historic day for our club and our community.
We are incredibly proud to announce that we have successfully secured a 25-year lease of the Donald Dewar pitches in the heart of Drumchapel on our 25th Anniversary.
This achievement represents years of hard work, dedication and belief. We first shared our vision back in 2018, with a dream of creating something truly special for the people of Drumchapel. While the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to pause that journey, it never diminished our ambition. We regrouped, restarted and remained committed to turning that vision into reality.
Throughout this process, we listened to our community. We heard from children eager for a place to play, young people looking for opportunities to develop, and adults who wanted better facilities for future generations. The message was clear: Drumchapel deserves more.
Today is the first major step towards delivering on that promise.
Our vision extends far beyond football. We want to create a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring community hub that provides opportunities for everyone. A place where young people can thrive, where local organisations can come together, and where the wider community can take pride in what has been achieved.
Securing this lease is not the finish line—it is the foundation. The real work begins now as we pursue funding to develop a state-of-the-art facility that will transform the pitches, strengthen community connections, create new opportunities and leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
This is about more than pitches. It is about investing in people, creating opportunities and building a brighter future for Drumchapel.
