As part of Work Placement Week, Changeworks is offering the opportunity to understand how the organisation operates, what it’s like to work in this sector and show you the range of services we provide and projects we deliver.

Work Placement Week is a hybrid experience, with a minimum of three mandatory in-person days at the Edinburgh office and two days at home. Reimbursements will be made for reasonable travel costs to the office, and a free lunch will be provided on office days.

✨ About Zarina Ahmad: Zarina is the Co-Director at the Women’s Environmental Network and a PhD scholar-activist at the University of Manchester, researching intersectional climate justice. With over 15 years of experience in climate engagement and policy advocacy, she has led pioneering work to amplify the voices of racialised and marginalised communities, including founding the Ethnic Minority Environment Network.

Her work beautifully bridges academia, activism, and policy to advance more inclusive and equitable climate solutions.
