Thank you to Barnardo's at HMP Edinburgh for welcoming us to their Family Week highlighting the work they do within their Family Visitor Centre.... and what an amazing space!

Another thank you to their FCO for giving us a tour of their visit room, another incredible and welcoming environment and was lovely to see the officers engaging and interacting with the children ❤️ UNCRC Article 3 and 31 came to mind!!

Today we had the pleasure welcoming Laura from MCR Pathways into the FVC. MCR Pathways is a mentoring programme, their vision is that every care-experienced young person, or those who have experienced challenges, get the same education outcomes, career opportunities and life chances as every other young person. Their school-based mentoring programme supports young people to find, grow and use their talents. They help young people to build confidence, broaden aspirations and explore their future pathways.

On reflection we had the best Father's Day!
The best part? No animals were harmed— not even a kitty! 🐈 😆 Super grateful to Sense of Nature for bringing out all their amazing animals for the children and families to enjoy!

I decided to spend Wednesday night watching Scotland vs. Brazil. 🇧🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
I’m pretty sure I’ve lost my voice, and my nails are gone 😆
Still, you’ve got to love the Tartan Army:
'We might be 3-0 down to Brazil, but imagine if we score one and somehow manage to scrape through!'

Thanks to HMP Low Moss Scottish Prison Service for providing these empire biscuits for Veterans Day 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿....... I believe one may have slipped into my bag on the way home 😋
