This Sunday 9th August is our annual triples charity bowling day. We raise money for the Glasgow Sick Children's Charity Hospital. We have fantastic raffles prizes including expensive donations from kind individuals and businesses, we thank you so much. All locals and beyond welcome to attend to watch the bowls, and have a drink or two. Music in the evening after the final to relax and enjoy the day. A massive thanks to Sandra, Heather, Lilly, and all the team for puting this day together ❤️.

A massive thank you to
J.K. Blinds for sponsoring our annual Fair Saturday Pairs Competition. A fantastic attendance to witness all the games culminating a fantastic final.
The worthy winners were Fraser Kennedy with David Tedman defeating Lilly and Liam Fitzpatrick in a very close encounter. A big thank you to our bar staff and Martin Garrity for his flawless organisation of all the games.

What a fantastic tournament today at our club. The Jim McGarvie memorial trophy event, Rena McGarvie presenting worthy winners Sandra Hepburn and Ross Armstrong with the trophy. Commiserations to Alex Thom and Derek Graham who made the game nail biting to watch.

We have our annual Glasgow Children's Charity Fundraising Open Triples Event Sunday 9th August, everyone is welcome bowlers or not. We have all been affected by heart disease at some point in our life. The money raised will help the children be as comfortable as possible going through life saving treatment.

A great tournament at Hawthorn Bowling Club congratulations to Auchenairn BC worthy winners. Well done ti Fraser Kennedy and Craig Graham runners up. Craig only been playing for 4 months, what a prospect we have in him.

A well fought ladies semi triples Victoria v Kilsyth. Unfortunately Victoria went down to a very experienced team. Look out for our ladies next year with more experience, watch us go.

A massive well done to Sandra Hepburn who got through to the Bowls Scottish District finals. Sandra won her Semi final tie 21...20 against a very experienced Westermains champion in a very pulsating game.
