From 1 September 2026, Lived Experience Representatives on Integration Joint Boards (IJBs) will gain the same voting rights as NHS and local authority members.

This important change recognises the value of lived experience in shaping health and social care services and marks a significant step towards more inclusive decision-making.

Funding Opportunity in Nitshill 📢

The Greggs Foundation Community Action Fund is offering one grant of up to £60,000 over three years for an established voluntary sector organisation working in Nitshill (G53). Funding is available for projects tackling food poverty, improving health and wellbeing, promoting inclusion, or reducing isolation.

💡 Eligible organisations can access up to £15,000 through the Flexible Workforce Development Fund to support priority staff training and development.

Local colleges are offering information and support on how to apply, including:
✅ Glasgow Clyde College
✅ City of Glasgow College
✅ Glasgow Kelvin College

📅 Glasgow Clyde College is also hosting a business breakfast on 18 August and webinars on 20 & 21 August to help organisations learn more about the fund.
