Branch Meeting Survey Results 📊

There were 14 individual responses from 5 different workplaces 👷‍♀️

The biggest barriers to attending were work scheduling conflicts and members not wanting to attend in their own time. There were multiple comments requesting that members be able to attend branch meetings during their working hours.
(Unfortunately this is not possible as branch meetings are not covered by our workplace agreements, which means they must be attended in your own time.) 🕰️

Most people would prefer branch meetings be held every other month, with Monday, Tuesday and Thursday as the most popular days. 📆

The majority of members would like meetings to be held in the afternoon in the same workplace each time, with an option to attend online. 💻

Each respondent wished for meetings to be held in their own workplace and requests were received for each of the following locations:
- AAH Pharmaceuticals 3 votes
- Crown Paints 1 vote
- Morrisons Crossmyloof 2 votes
- Morrisons Giffnock 1 vote
- Morrisons Newlands 7 votes ✅

Thank you again to everyone who responded. We wish to make branch meetings as open and accessible to all members as possible. I hope by using this survey we can accommodate the majority of members and increase our attendance at branch meetings. Hope to see you all at our next meeting, date will be announced soon!

📅📢 BRANCH MEETING 📢📅

Our next branch meeting will take place at 5pm on Tuesday 4th November in the Training Room of Morrisons Newlands.

We will be discussing our nominations for the union elections 2026 and all branch members are welcome to attend!

Calling all Young Workers!! 🙋🏻🙋🏿‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️

If you are under 25, work in the South of Glasgow and are interested in attending Usdaw's National Young Workers Weekend please get in touch! It will take place at Usdaw HQ in Manchester from Sat 2nd to Sun 3rd November 📅

Nominations are also now open for the National Young Workers Committee! If you would like to get involved please contact us before Friday 17th May to be considered 🗳️
