We are delighted to share that Giffnock North are offering FOUR Summer Camps for athletes aged 5 - 12 years at Hutchesons' Grammar School (G41 4NW).

The Camps are a fantastic way to entertain the kids over the holidays whilst they learn the FUNdamental skills of athletics!

Summer Steeplechase Sessions 💫🙌

When? 10:00 - 12:00
Where? Linwood (PA3 3RA)
Who? Open to athletes in the U16 age group, U18, U20, Senior & Masters

These development sessions are open to everyone - beginners looking to take their first barrier to more experienced athletes looking to sharpen up for the Championship season.
With these sessions we hope to demystify the event and encourage more athletes to give the steeplechase a go!!! 💪
Led by Becky Dunphy, athletes can work on their basic hurdling technique, have a go over the wooden barriers & running through the water jump.

To cover track costs, there will be a £5 fee.

Glasgow’s Got Talent! 🙌

Applications are now open for Glasgow Life's Talented Sport Performer Award (2026-2027).

The Talented Sport Performer Award supports the development of Glasgow athletes through funded access to the city's World Class training facilities.

The eligibility criteria for this award is noted below:
- Athletes living within the Glasgow City Council Boundary
- Athletes who have been selected or competed for Scotland or Great Britain in the past 12 months OR athletes who can demonstrate that they are or will be competing at a Scottish or Great British level within the next 12 months.

All TSPs will received funded access to Glasgow Club Gyms and swimming pools to support their training requirements.
Applicants can also apply for a £300 allowance to support their training programme. This non cash allowance is non transferable and can only be used to book sport specific spaces in GL venues relevant to your sport (i.e. athletics track).

The allowance is awarded on a pro rata basis with applications from September onwards receiving £200 and December onwards £100.
