One of the most heartwarming parts of our Gypsy Roma & Traveller History Month Celebration was seeing the incredible artwork created by Annette Street primary school children.
As part of the project, the children took part in two art workshops where they learned about the history of the Roma people, including their journey from South Asia and the travels that have shaped Roma culture over the past 1,000 years.
Inspired by what they learned, these fantastic young artists created four beautiful pieces of artwork that tell the story of the Roma people's journey.
A huge thank you to the pupils, teachers, funders & everyone involved in making this wonderful collaboration possible. We are so proud to have showcased your amazing work and hope it continues to inspire conversations about Roma history, culture, and heritage. 💙🎨💚
