(483)

We provide first aid training for every need, including First Aid at Work courses for those who need to comply with health and safety requirements and a range of community based courses for members of the public which give the knowledge and confidence to deal with life's little - and big - emergencies. As the official first aid organisation for some of Scotland's most exciting events like T in the

This Check Your Defib Week (15-21 June) we’re encouraging all defib Guardians to ensure their device is working and accurately listed on The Circuit. We are so proud to support Resuscitation Council UK and this campaign.❤

It could help save lives.

Not a defib Guardian? You can still take part in Check Your Defib Week by using DefibFinder to locate your nearest defibrillator so you are familiar with the location.

Strathkelvin Corps enjoyed a really informative and engaging evening visiting Bishopbriggs Community Fire Station, continuing to build strong and meaningful community links 🚒🧯

Opportunities like this highlight just how important it is to work together, sharing knowledge, building relationships, and supporting one another to keep our communities safe.

A huge thank you to Watch Commander Martin and his crew for such a warm welcome. From showing us around the station and fire engine to taking the time to answer all of our questions, it was a fantastic experience and greatly appreciated.

As Volunteers’ Week 2026 comes to a close, we want to take one final moment to say a heartfelt thank you ❤

To each and every one of our volunteers, thank you for your time, your compassion, and your unwavering dedication. You are the backbone of St Andrew’s First Aid, and everything we achieve is because of you.

This week has been about celebrating you, but our gratitude doesn’t end here. Day in, day out, you show up for your duties, support those in need, and help save lives, and we couldn’t be prouder to have you with us.

As we look ahead to an exciting new chapter, we do so knowing we have the very best people by our side. Your commitment continues to inspire us, and the future of St Andrew’s First Aid is stronger because of you.

From all of us, thank you for being the very best!💫

It’s nearly the end of Volunteers Week and honestly… where would we be without our incredible volunteers?

Over the past year, our volunteers at St Andrew’s First Aid have provided an unbelievable 31,969 hours supporting events across Scotland 👏🚑

That’s:

☕ A LOT of cups of tea
🚨 Countless event duties
❤️ Thousands of helping hands
😂 Plenty of laughs along the way
…and probably enough hi-vis wearing to be spotted from space!

Our volunteers give up their time to help others, and we are endlessly grateful for every single hour. This is all in their own time, some even working full shifts in their own day jobs, then coming to help at events every night!

Thank you for your commitment, compassion, dedication, and for always showing up with a smile (even in Scottish weather ☔).

We appreciate you more than words can say, you are the heart of this organisation❤

A Week to Celebrate You ⭐

This Volunteers Week, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible people who make St Andrew’s First Aid what it is!🥹

From first shifts to milestone years of service, every volunteer has played a part in supporting events, being a support system for a casualty, and making a difference across Scotland.

We celebrate your dedication, compassion, commitment, and countless hours given to helping others.

Thank you for everything you do. St Andrew’s simply wouldn’t be the same without our amazing volunteers, shout out to these icons and all our wonderful volunteers!

Happy Volunteers’ Week 2026! 💙

From 1st–7th June, we join organisations across the UK in celebrating Volunteers’ Week, a national campaign dedicated to recognising the incredible contribution volunteers make in our communities.

This year’s theme shines a spotlight on the power of volunteering to bring people together, strengthen communities, and create positive change through compassion, commitment, and connection.

It’s a time to reflect, celebrate, and say a heartfelt thank you to every single volunteer who gives their time, skills, and energy to help others.🥰

At St Andrew’s First Aid, our volunteers are at the very heart of everything we do. Whether you’re providing life-saving first aid at events, supporting training, helping behind the scenes, or representing us everyday your impact is extraordinary.

To every volunteer: thank you. You are the reason we can continue to be there when Scotland needs us most! Keep your eyes peeled this week for some fab volunteer content, some amazing TikToks and special shoutouts!❤
