Our love without limits conference is only three weeks away! We are so excited for a day of breaking down barriers and highlighting important conversations around relationships.

We are delighted to be joined on the day by representatives from Scottish Commission for People with Learning Disabilities, In Control Scotland , Stay Up Late Scotland and RapeCrisis Grampian . They will share their insights alongside Dates-n-Mates Scotland staff and members.

Our members had a cracking day out at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum as part of our Oot & Aboot series! ✨

Oot & Aboot is all about getting out and enjoying cultural events and attractions around the city — and we picked the perfect time to visit, with the Barbie exhibition adding a little extra glamour! 💕✨

Our 2026 Love Without Limits Conference is coming up in September!

The conference takes place in Aberdeen but you are all welcome to travel up and join us for a wonderful day of breaking down barriers for adults with learning disabilities.

At the conference, Tony and Donna-Marie will be giving everyone an insight into our Love and S*x workshops.

People often tell us they have not had enough information, advice or support about relationships. This is a good opportunity to find out more about what the workshops cover and how we make it fun as well as educational!

Dancing for Donations 🕺

On Friday 11th September, Dates-n-Mates West of Scotland members will be putting on their dancing shoes for a Dance-a-Thon at The Wynd, Paisley, to raise funds to support our work.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us continue creating opportunities for adults with learning disabilities to build confidence, meet new people and enjoy meaningful social opportunities across Scotland.

☕🍰 Coffee, Cake & Great Ideas! 💜

Yesterday, our Glasgow members met at Boteco in the Trongate for our monthly Coffee & Cake catch-up. It was a brilliant afternoon filled with laughter, friendly chats, and plenty of exciting ideas for future events.

We also had two members express an interest in taking part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk this September – what an amazing challenge to get involved in! 👏💚

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and shared their ideas. We can't wait to see what adventures are still to come!
