⚽️🍔 STAFF & FAMILY BBQ – WHAT A DAY! 🎉❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to our Staff & Family BBQ and Football Tournament today! 🙌

Despite the Scottish weather doing its absolute best to put a dampener on things, we still managed to have a brilliant day filled with food, fun, laughter and a wee bit of competitive spirit! 😂☔️

And then came the football… ⚽️🤣

We had adults vs kids, adults vs adults some showing off some serious football skills… ⚽️🔥 and others who perhaps should have stayed on the sidelines! 😂

There were goals, near misses, questionable tackles, questionable refereeing decisions 👀😂 and plenty of friendly rivalry. Some took it very seriously… while others were just happy to make it to the final whistle! 🏃‍♀️💨⚽️

But that’s what made it so much fun — competitive, chaotic and full of laughs! 🏆😂

A massive THANK YOU to all the staff who helped behind the scenes to make today happen — from setting everything up, organising the food and stalls, keeping everyone fed and watered, tidying up and generally doing whatever was needed to keep the day running smoothly. ❤️👏

We couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌

And a special THANK YOU to Bradley and team at Football Focused 1-2-1 for all his help and input today, including organising the staff referee and providing the medals for our footballers. 🥇👏⚽️

Thank you to all our staff, families and children who came along, got involved and helped make the day such a memorable one.

🌧️☔️ SCOTTISH WEATHER… BUT THE BBQ IS STILL ON! ☔️🌧️

Well… the Scottish weather has decided to join us for our Staff BBQ today!

But don’t worry — THE EVENT IS STILL GOING AHEAD! 🎉🙌

We’re bringing as much as possible indoors, so you can still enjoy:

🍔🌭 Food & drinks
🎟️ Tombola
🍬 Candy stalls
🎉 Plenty of fun, laughs and good company!

⚽️ The football tournament will still take place outdoors — so get those boots ready! 👟⚽️

🏰 We’re also currently waiting on the bouncy castle safety assessment to see whether it can safely go ahead outdoors or be moved indoors. We’ll keep everyone updated!

The weather might not be playing ball, but that’s not going to stop us having a BRILLIANT DAY TOGETHER! ❤️

So grab your jackets, bring your smiles and let’s make the most of it! 😁🎉

Very excited to announce the launch of a new male carers group taking place at The Shettleston Hub. The group will run on the first Monday of each month from 3.15pm - 4.45pm at the Shettleston Hub, 981 Shettleston Road. The first group is taking place on Monday 5th October.
