📢📢Exhibition on the 24th April 📢📢

Thank you to everyone for your entries to our exhibition. It was a difficult decision, with many amazing entries, but we have now selected photos for the exhibition!

On the 24th of April, we will be hosting our Home Away from Home exhibition in The Drawing Room in GUU.

Entry will be from 6-7:45, and will be completely free 📸🎉

We will be auctioning off A2 versions of any exhibited prints at the exhibition too!

Looking forward to seeing you all there, and thank you for a brilliant year 📸📸

Mark your calendars! We’ve finalised the date for our end of year exhibition 📸

We are looking for UP TO 3 photo submissions from our members under the theme of ‘Home (Away From Home)’! This is open to your interpretation, and we would love to see just how creative you can be 🎨

As university students, many of us have moved away from home for what could be the first time. We want to see photos that show the excitement, the trepidation, the feelings of homesickness and opportunity that this move brings.

Submissions close on the 29th of March, so be sure to submit your photographs to this form to be considered for the exhibition: https://forms.gle/Ga7NwJuUyufocAYw7

Hey everyone! We'll be getting a tour of the Simon Murphy Exhibition (by the man himself !!) at Street Level coming Wednesday January 24th at 2pm.

We’ll be meeting between 1-1:15pm outside Hillhead Subway or you can meet us outside Street Level just before 2pm!

This major exhibition of Simon Murphy’s photographic document 'Govanhill' brings together his long-term project of a place in the southside of the city of Glasgow.

Simon has been documenting people in this locality for several years with the resulting images giving an insight into one of Scotland's most diverse areas. Govanhill is a point of arrival for many. Traditionally it has been a place where immigrants arrive in Glasgow and often move on from.

Hey everyone :)

Our first event back is in collaboration with the Glasgow Uni Poetry Society!

This Wednesday 17th we’ll be in Record Factory from 7pm!

GUPS members will be reading out poems written by them but inspired by GUPY members’ photography!
The photographs will be projected behind the poet as they perform their poems.

As always, see you there hopefully
