Glasgow Sling Library Glasgow Sling Library (GSL) is a not for profit social enterprise. We run stay and plays, infant feeding and parenting support groups.

We offer tailored 1:1 consultations, free sling sessions and baby box wrap workshops and sling hire. A friendly Glasgow based peer-to-peer community for parents, & parents-to-be. Join us if you already wear your baby, or want to find out more about slings & carriers. Whether you are familiar with slings, wraps and carriers, or totally new to everything babywearing then you are welcome to come along. Ask questions and share what you know.

We’ve got some 1:1 consultation availability this week on Tuesday & Wednesday, and our regular drop-ins are running as usual on Monday and Friday ☕🧸

If you’d like a bit more time than a drop-in allows, whether you’re choosing your first carrier, would like a bit of help troubleshooting one you already own, or just want the space to try a few different options without rushing, this is a good week to get booked in 🗓️

Appointments are relaxed, baby led and tailored to you and your wee one 🤱🏼

Sometimes it’s not that your baby hates the carrier, it might just need a few tweaks 🛠️

A small change to the height, straps, waistband or how baby is positioned can make a surprisingly big difference to comfort for both of you 🫶

If you’ve got a carrier at home that you’re not quite getting on with, bring it in and we can help ✅

We’re happy to help you work with what you already have, you absolutely don’t need to buy something new and there's never any pressure to hire from our library either ❌

We have availability this week for 1:1 babywearing consultations on Tuesday & Wednesday in our Easterhouse studio, alongside our regular Babywearing drop-in group on Friday 💛

Today is Rainbow Baby Day 🌈

We know today can bring a real mix of emotions. You may have your rainbow baby in your arms, be pregnant after loss, be hoping to conceive again, have decided not to try again, or be navigating pregnancy or baby loss right now.

Having another baby after loss can bring huge joy, but it can also bring grief, anxiety and reminders of the baby who came before. There’s space for all of those feelings today. 💜🧡

Thinking of all the families in our GSL community whose stories include pregnancy or baby loss.

Our groups are free to attend and you’re always welcome to bring partners, grandparents, siblings or whoever you need with you 👧 👵 👶

Fancy joining our wee team? 🙂

We’re looking for some friendly volunteers to help out at Glasgow Sling Library, and you don’t need any babywearing experience at all.

Volunteering could be as simple as helping us welcome families, making people feel comfortable when they arrive, having a chat, lending a hand around the group and generally helping things run smoothly ✅

If you’re friendly, reliable and enjoy being around parents and wee ones, we’d love to hear from you!

Whether you could help regularly or just occasionally, please pop us a message and have a chat with us about getting involved or share with a friend who might be interested 💛
