Currently part of Hamilton road is being resurfaced.

While this is positive, it doesn't address the wider problems residents and the wider community have been raising for years.

Our new webpage which has been under development for a couple of months sets out the facts, the impacts on the community, and the changes we're calling for.

❗️Reporting odours❗️

We'd like to remind everyone of the importance of reporting odours from the landfill.

EVERY complaint is monitored by Sepa even if you don't get a call back or written response . Without complaints SEPA cannot take action.

Its quick and easy using the online form or calling directly during office hours.

You may also have noticed that Glasgow City Council are again dumping at Patersons in huge volumes while Polmadie is out of action. We were informed today by SEPA that this could continue for many many months to come even up to a year. The additional traffic and waste this brings is very concerning. We are in discussions with our local councillors, MP, MSP, Sepa and GCC regarding these concerns along with the increase in odours over the last 3 months.

Report an environmental event to SEPA. An environmental event is an incident which has, or may have, an environmental impact.
