SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Will you join us in giving a brighter future to vulnerable students in rural Northern Malawi please?
There are currently 24 teenagers in the new S1 class who are looking for a SPONSOR to help us with the costs of their education. The students pay nothing but we have to pay the teachers, provide equipment and uniform and a free nutritious cooked lunch each day.
16 girls and 8 boys, all living in extreme poverty, most are orphans living with extended family, have been given the opportunity of secondary education at Bright Futures Secondary School.
Will you help one of them please?

Summer Camp at BFSS

It’s today! Our School Literacy Projecf is making a big difference to children who are living in extreme poverty in northern Malawi. We have donated at least 20 boxes of books each to two primary schools and the exam results for school leavers have risen by 19%. Children are becoming confident readers and books are being reused and recycled.

Thanks to Balfron Book Festival donations and other supporters, a third primary school will be receiving boxes of reading books. It is a low cost project making a big impact. It only costs £17.50 per box on the container…not much when you consider the change that books are bringing and the enjoyment to hundreds of children. But lots of £17.50s soon add up. So could you make a donation to sponsor a box of books to get to a school where they have minimal resources please? The William Stewart Foundation. fans
