🐾🆘Oscar’s medical update - DONATION APPEAL- GOAL £300🆘🐾

We won’t be running a dedicated flight fund appeal this week, but we do need to run a little fundraiser for Oscar’s vet bills.

He has now had his full vet check including testing, ultrasounds, X-rays, neutering and will soon have his vaccinations and chip inserted.

The good news is that overall, Oscar is doing well. His heart and lungs sounded normal, and he has tested negative for tick-borne diseases and heartworm🥰

He does have Giardia though so will need some treatment to get back to full health… at an additional cost 😢

➡️£300 will cover his neutering and Giardia treatment, can we raise this today?

All four have successfully passed their rabies titre tests, bringing them one step closer to their journey to the UK and, hopefully, their forever families in November! ✈️🇬🇧

Keep your eyes peeled for their adoption posts, as these four little ones will soon be looking for their happily ever after.

Mabel will be first, with her adoption post coming next week! We can’t wait to find the perfect family for this sweet girl 🥹💕

Every step of their journey is only possible thanks to your incredible support.

✈️ They’re on their way! ✈️

Our sweet Toffee, Milo and Leo arrived safely in Kuala Lumpur this afternoon.

They had a little stretch and a walk around before getting ready to embark on the final leg of their journey.

They’ll land in the UK in the early hours of the morning, where three very excited families are eagerly waiting to meet them.

Safe travels, little ones. Your forever families will be meeting you very soon ❤️

💙 NEW RESCUE | DONATIONS NEEDED 💙

Meet sweet Oscar 🥺

After being abandoned at a local shelter in South Korea, he’s now safe with Karamom and has been given the chance to start a brand new chapter 🐾❤️

And incredibly, Oscar is our third rescue in just one week. Three little lives now depending on us to provide the care, safety and love they so desperately deserve.

While Oscar is finally safe, his journey is only just beginning. He’ll soon start his veterinary checks, and we’ll need your help to cover the costs of his care, treatment, food and boarding.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps give Oscar the second chance he deserves 💙

🏥His initial vet checks will cost us £800 including all his tests, vaccinations and neutering. That’s before any follow up treatment.

🏡His monthly boarding and food will cost us £173 per month.

So, how can you help?

💰Make a one off donation today: PayPal [email protected] or Bank: PAYE Dog Meat Trade Dachshund Rescue & Support Group 30-99-50 27797568 or via our quick Payment link: https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/QZDGIK7S

💔 📣Urgent Sponsor Appeal 📣💔

Imagine being small, vulnerable and desperately unwell, with nobody there to help you. That was Hamish’s life. He was left on the streets while his body was fighting an awful battle. He has advanced heartworm, with worms reaching his main pulmonary artery, alongside a severe heart arrhythmia.

And that wasn't all. Hamish has also been diagnosed with giardia and anaplasma, a severely enlarged prostate, grade 3 luxating patellas in both back legs and elevated liver enzymes 😔

We can only imagine how frightening and painful life must have been for this little boy.

Hamish is finally safe, and he has people fighting for him. But being rescued doesn't mean his journey is over. He has a long road ahead, with vet care, medication, treatment, monitoring, food and all the support he needs to give him the best possible chance.

And we need people to stand beside him.

🙏🏼“Please Sponsor Me” https://dmtdrsg.org/dogs/hamish-2/

➡️🐾 Monthly sponsorship is one of the simplest ways you can help Hamish.

A regular gift from you will help cover his boarding, food, veterinary care, medication, treatment and the ongoing monitoring he needs. Just £2 per month is all it takes.

For Hamish, this isn't a luxury or a nice extra. It's giving him a chance to survive 💙 He has spent enough of his life being failed. Now it's our job to make sure he isn't….

🙏🏼💗Could you sponsor Mabel, Betsy or Rose?💗🙏🏼

In Korea, these sweet pups were rescued from a kill shelter.

🌸 Mabel born in 2023, this beautiful silver dapple girl has been described as an absolute sweetheart by everyone at our rescue partner's. She is gentle, loving and the kind of girl who seems to capture hearts wherever she goes.

🩷 Betsy also born in 2023, Betsy is a smart, affectionate little girl who loves attention and has such a lovely nature. After being found abandoned on the streets before ending up in a city kill shelter, she now has the safety and care she so desperately needed.

🌹 Rose born in 2024, Rose has a fabulous temperament and is a lovely, affectionate girl who quickly wins everyone over. She is truly gorgeous inside and out.

Sponsorship (whether a one off gift or monthly) helps cover everything from shelter costs in Asia, medical costs, food and flights, ensuring no dachshund is left behind.

🌸 Sponsor Mabel: https://dmtdrsg.org/dogs/mabel/?form=FUNYPPUYHZV

🩷 Sponsor Betsy: https://dmtdrsg.org/dogs/betsy/?form=FUNLMYQYETD

🌹 Sponsor Rose: https://dmtdrsg.org/dogs/rose/?form=FUNHTRAZLAN

And if sponsorship isn't possible, a donation of any size would go a huge way.
