🏡⭐️ADOPTION ALERT⭐️🏡 Romeo and Winston🐾

These are separate adoptions, please specify on your application which boy you are applying for.

Details:

💙Age: both are around 4 years old

💙Personality: Romeo is a charming boy with a wonderful character and plenty of affection to give. He loves cuddles, relaxing in the sunshine, and stretching his legs on a good run. Friendly and full of personality, Romeo enjoys spending time with his people and being part of the action.

Winston is a lively, cheerful and incredibly gentle dog who loves being around people. Affectionate and friendly, he enjoys cuddles, sunbathing, and having a good run around. Full of character and always happy to make new doggy friends. Winston would make a wonderful companion.

💙Weight: Romeo is 12kg and Winston is 14kg.

💙 Health: Both boys have undergone thorough vet checks and nothing abnormal has been noted. They are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and have tested negative for several infectious diseases including brucella.

Criteria: Important, please read before applying!

🪴You must have a secure, enclosed garden accessed directly from your home.
😿/🐶 - Romeo & Winston CANNOT live with cats but are happy in the company of other dogs.
👶- Please do not apply if you have children under the age of 7.
✈️- Romeo & Winston are hoping to fly to the UK mid-late July so you must be available to collect and dedicate the time to settle in to your home. It can take a rescue dog up to 3 months to feel totally settled into a new home.

💰- £600 Adoption donation per dog will be payable 14 days before the flight.

As always, patience, love and time are essential with a rescue dog and you will be supported by our post adoption team every step of the way.

When completing your application, please give as much detail as you can on the home you will be offering either Romeo or Winston. We can only make our initial decision on who to interview if we get a full picture of your home, your lifestyle, your love of dachshunds etc.

✔️Rabies? Passed It! Next Stop: Forever Home 🐾

Paddy has officially passed his rabies titre test and will be ready to fly in July🎉

Not wanting to be left behind, Ada, Lola and Lark have all passed too and will be ready for their journeys in August❤️🇬🇧

That means our departure lounge is getting busy, with July and August shaping up to be packed with flights as these lucky dogs get one step closer to their forever homes. 🏡

Please keep your paws crossed as we continue fundraising to get everyone safely on their way. Every penny donated brings one of our dogs closer to the life they deserve. ✈️🐶

Handsome Dylan was rescued from a kill shelter in Korea in February and is now ready to find his forever home ✨

Dylan’s details:
💙Age - Estimated 5 years old.
💙Weight - Dylan was only around 4kg and so hungry when rescued but is now putting on weight.
💙Health - Dylan is in good health other than being a bit underweight. He has had all of his vaccinations and is neutered.
💙Temperament - Dylan is quite shy and shows no aggression. He is getting used to life at the shelter and takes time to warm up to people. They say he is very calm, likes to relax and chill out and to be held.

Criteria:

✈️⛅️Countdown to Take-Off ⛅️✈️

Next week, our black & tan sausages, Holly & Noel will be boarding a plane and heading towards their happily-ever-after! ❤️

After leaving their past behind in Korea, they are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime as they make their way to the UK to join their loving family and foster family 🏡✨

📍 Travel Date: 16th June
✈️ Route: Korea → London Heathrow
🕕 Expected Arrival: Early evening

We’ll be following every step of their journey and sharing updates and photos as they travel across the world 📸🌍

♥️🍎 Apple update 🍎♥️

We're pleased to share that Apple is finally rid of that hernia she has been carrying all this time 😢

She underwent her op today, which was a significant procedure. The hernia was so large that it had been intruding on her organs. So, as well as removing the hernia, all of her displaced organs were returned to their normal position. Unfortunately, due to damage caused by long-term loss of blood supply, her spleen had to be removed.

The next six months will be crucial for recovery, with strict rest and activity restrictions needed to allow everything to heal properly.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Apple so far. We're relieved that her surgery is behind us and are now focused on a smooth recovery❤️🐶
