September has been a (very) busy one at Flexibility Works!đź‘‹

We welcomed five new organisations to our accredited community - Fife Gingerbread, Glasgow West Housing Association, CERT- Clackmannanshire Economic Regeneration Trust, Firstport and Serps Invaders. A huge congratulations to all five organisations! 🎉

We’ve also been out and about talking flexible working with employers at Fife Chamber of Commerce, third sector leaders at the Charity Leadership Conference and new partners at the Law Society.

Lisa marked Scottish Employability Day with the Third Sector Employability Forum, we joined Prosper at the University of Glasgow, and Nikki has been busy networking at events across Scotland.

There’s been plenty happening online too, including our latest Flexible Workplace Accreditation info session with Rebecca Allen from Into Work and recording a new podcast with Graham Robertson, CEO of Working Rite, ahead of Challenge Poverty Week.

And to top off the month, we were delighted to find out that Lisa and Nikki have both been nominated for the Business Women Scotland Top 100 2026! đź‘Ź

October is shaping up to be just as busy - we’ve got new consultancy projects underway, with more training sessions and discovery calls in the diary.

Meet our next Digital Roadshow guest speaker, Rebecca Allen!

Rebecca is CEO of Into Work, one of the first organisations in Scotland to achieve the Flexible Workplace Accreditation.

She’ll be joining Lisa for our third sector spotlight to share what flexible working looks like at Into Work, why they decided to go through accreditation and what the process has meant for their team.

As Rebecca puts it:
“The accreditation has affirmed our culture and strengthened trust across the whole team.”

A big congratulations to Glasgow West Housing Association, one of Scotland’s newest accredited flexible workplaces!🎉

We recently presented the team with their Flexible Workplace Accreditation, recognising the strong foundations they’ve built and their commitment to keep improving.

Flexible working is already part of everyday life at GWHA, with flexi time, home working and varied working patterns helping colleagues achieve a better work-life balance.
