WHO ARE WE?

The African and Caribbean Christian Fellowship (ACCF) was formed in 1986. It was originally made up from a mixture of Scottish, African and Caribbean members living in Scotland. We have three branches in total with the other two being in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. ACCF is not a church, we are a fellowship and charitable organisation. We come together every Sunday at 3pm to worship, take part in bible studies, prayer and thanksgiving and look after the welfare of others and integrate new students in the Scottish community. We always have fellowship after fellowship too - a time of tea, coffee, cakes, juice and rice dependent on the occasion!

We host various community projects. Twice a year all three branches in ACCF meet in once city. Our annual Easter Retreat occurs over the easter weekend where we meet and celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We usually have a guest speaker who will be with us the entire weekend and be involved in our adult, youth, young adults and children’s sessions. The Easter Retreat is renown for its fun praise and worship, captivating discussions and variety night on the Sunday evening! We have an annual summer picnic also where ACCF Glasgow visit Strathclyde Country Park or Blair Drummond Safari park, have a BBQ and fellowship together! We also have an annual joint fellowship where we have a guest speaker for a day and other sessions for the other demographics in our ACCF.

In addition to this we go to Dungeval Detention Centre twice a month to hold a service for those currently in the centre.

We are a Christian fellowship open to all races, groups and nations! A few of our original founding members were in fact from the heart of the Scottish Community. We’re a fun, lively and welcoming group who look forward to seeing you on Sunday’s at 3pm. If you have any questions at all just send us a message!
