One school, lots of different experiences. 🏫

What matters to an S1 family can be very different from what matters to a parent of an S3 or a senior pupil.

From settling into secondary school 🎒 to subject choices, exams, opportunities 📚 and everything in between, each stage comes with its own questions, experiences and priorities.

That’s why hearing from parents and carers across different year groups matters. The more perspectives around the table, the better we understand the school community we’re here to represent. 💬

There’s plenty going on at Rosshall. 💜

Sport. 🏅 Music. 🎶 Drama. 🎭 Dance. 💃 Film. 🎬 Languages. 🌍 Maths. 📚…And that’s just for starters.

The 2026–27 Extra-Curricular Clubs are up and running, with clubs happening at lunchtime and after school.

Does your child have a favourite? Or fancy trying something new? 👀

There’s a great mix of opportunities to get involved, meet people, have fun and enjoy the wider life of Rosshall.

You’ll find all the club timetables in the photos; have a wee look and see what’s on. 💜

There’s more than one way to see the world. 🌍

European Day of Languages is a chance to celebrate the many ways languages can spark curiosity, open up new perspectives and bring people together.

This week, the Languages Ambassadors are finding out what language learning looks like from the pupils’ point of view, and everyone is curious to hear what they discover.

We’re about to find out what happens when our S6 pupils choose a real problem to solve? 👀

They have started their START journey: a programme where they get to spot real-world problems, develop ideas and explore how those ideas could become real solutions, by kicking things off with a Design Day at the , working on creativity, problem spotting and teamwork.

Now they’ll develop their ideas, work with an industry partner and head towards a regional Pitch Final in March 2027.

And one of the ideas already taking shape? A board game designed to make speech and literacy learning more engaging for children. 🐶

Real problems + Big ideas, let’s see where they take them.

👉 Let’s follow their journey: .START

Did you know the school team joins us at Parent Council meetings too?

They share their insights, give us updates, answer our questions and help us understand what’s happening across the school. 💬

Having those conversations together means we can look at things from different perspectives, raise what matters to parents and be part of discussions that can lead to decisions supporting our kids at school. 🤝
