Sir John Stirling Maxwell Allotment Gardens Allotment gardens in Pollok Country Park. Established in 1888 for the local community to enjoy the pleasures of gardening in a countryside setting.

We have 122 plots within our gardens which are located within Pollok Park, Glasgow. The Gardens were create on the behest of Sir John Stirling-Maxwell in 1889 for the residents of Pollokshaws. Since then the allotments have been run by a committee elected from the members.
