This weekend, the Briggait will be taken over by a free, all-ages programme celebrating some of Glasgow's best creative and culinary communities - 'Clydeside Commons', for Merchant City Festival and Glasgow 2026 (12 - 8pm, at the Briggait).

An all ages, accessible, and family-friendly affair, the weekend kicks off with a phenomenal line up curated by Junglehussi with a genre-bending celebration of music, community, and creativity Friday 31 July, 12 - 8pm.

Sharing for another group. Opportunities to share your memories of Kinning Park!

Kinning Park Oral History Saturdays in May

Kinning Park Complex are celebrating 30 years of community led work with a 55 day festival with events from film screenings, handcraft workshops to games nights and shared food. As part of the festival people are invited to come and share their memories and stories of the Complex and Kinning Park neighbourhood every Saturday in May between 2 and 4 pm. If you have any connection with the building and/or the neighbourhood and are keen to share your stories/memories please to do pop along !

You will have the option to have your stories recorded and kept in a community archive organised by Community Land Scotland which will serve as resource for folk to learn about KPC’s history.
