Hope Connections (SC028928) are a community of people who Jump-In, Walk-With, & Live-Life with those struggling with addiction, reoffending, trauma, mental ill-health, & homelessness. We are a community of people in Glasgow who Jump-In, Walk-With, & Live-Life with those struggling with addiction, reoffending, trauma, mental ill-health, & homelessness. Many of our community have lived experience as

we see the raw power of Changed People, Changing People every day. We believe that what people need more than anything is hope, positive connections, and lasting relationships in their life. Statutory and commissioned services do an amazing job to support people, but they have a tendency to try to fix people issue by issue rather than being truly person-centred and trauma-informed. That is not their fault - it is just the way the system is currently designed. In addition, paid support always ends as the money always runs out! This is where the power of communities working together is vital, as people can just become 'part of' a community of people who are 'just there, and just care.'

We have a HOPE Outreach Team who Stand in the Gaps, Join the Dots, and Go Towards the Pain, assertively and intentionally seeking out those who are in crisis, on the edge of crisis, or at risk of slipping into crisis. We work closely with statutory services, commissioned services, and with other charities across the city. Collaboration is everything for us and we will work with anyone and everyone! We have developed a HOPE Connection Network across the city that links up organisations across different network communities including Creative, Active, Recovery, Therapeutic, Learning, Volunteering, Employability, and Faith. This is a dynamic and organic network that is evolving and growing every day. We have started to work with local organisations across the city to plant and grow HOPE Hubs in local communities, so we can land and embed our assets in local areas, allowing us to be truly person-centred, trauma-informed, and community-anchored in all we do. We are therefore strategic when we need to be BUT we are always just there at the grassroots level, being ready to jump-in beside the Next One who needs to be nurtured, supported, connected, and encouraged to unlock their full potential. We welcome all volunteers, supporters, and partners as there is SO MUCH NEED to respond to across Glasgow and surrounding areas.
