🚨 Urgent appeal for Help - Damage to Glasgow Street Aid Medical Centre - Please share. 🚨

At 04:45 this morning a male repeated kicked and kicked our door until it smashed.

Thankfully no one was injured and our volunteers were safe, however the damage means we now urgently need the glass panel replaced so we can keep the centre secure and continue supporting people in Glasgow’s night-time economy.

We are reaching out to our amazing community to ask:

Does anyone know a local glazier or company who could help replace this glass as soon as possible?
Even advice or recommendations would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you to Police Scotland Greater Glasgow for attending the scene and arresting the male, the male will be getting reported for this offence.

Despite this, our volunteers will continue to be here for the public who need medical or welfare assistance.

If you can help or know someone who can, please message the page or call us on 01412129271.

Thank you for the continued support ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the donation received from Anetic Aid Ltd for 5 new mattresses and foot end protectors! 🛏️

These mattresses are used every weekend by our patients and the feet protectors will ensure they last longer to allow us to provide a safe space for our patients to be assessed and treated within our Medical and Welfare centre 🏥

Thank you so much ☺️

Our Fundraising Lead, Foxx, and our Grant Lead, Iain, who represented Glasgow Street Aid at the Kiltwalk kickoff meeting!

Foxx and Iain are dedicated to finding new ways to keep our ambulance on the road and our team on the streets.

It was an incredible day hearing the powerful backstories of why the Kiltwalk matters and getting stuck into some (unexpected!) group exercises.

We’ve come away inspired, energised, and ready to get our kilts on to support the people of Glasgow. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Keep an eye out for our upcoming Kiltwalk plans, we’d love for you to join Murrays Medics!

Did you know, a few times each month our Special Projects Lead, Alison gives talks in the community all about our charity?

She attends local kids clubs, workplaces and guilds to name but a few, helping spread the word about all that Glasgow Street Aid does. Sometimes accompanied by our Ambulance Dixie 🚑

Interested in booking a talk? Please follow the link and fill out our Request a talk form and one of the team will get back in contact to arrange the finer details 😊

Alison often is booked up quickly so make sure to get your request in before she fills up her diary! 📔
