We're delighted to see our Tenant Scrutiny Panel featured in the Scottish Housing News recognising their excellent work in promoting meaningful tenant participation.

A huge thank you to our panel members for their passion, commitment and the difference they continue to make. By sharing their experience and good practice, they're helping to highlight the importance of giving all tenants, regardless of who their landlord is, the opportunity to have their voices heard and get involved in shaping housing services.

We started by making cowboy hats, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and then were joined by everyone’s favourite cowboy duo for plenty of fun and photos.

🌞🐄 6 Weeks of Summer – Event 2 Success! 🐄🌞

What a fantastic day we had at Heads of Ayr Farm Park as part of our 6 Weeks of Summer programme!
Our bus was packed with 46 tenants who enjoyed a fun-filled day in the sunshine. From meeting all the amazing animals to exploring the park and making the most of the beautiful weather, there were plenty of smiles all round. 🐐🐑🐰

Everyone also enjoyed a tasty packed lunch, and the fun continued on the journey home with a scavenger hunt!

A huge thank you to all the tenants who came along and helped make the day such a success. It's always great to spend time together and create lasting summer memories.

We can't wait for our next adventure! ☀️💚

🎉 Congratulations to our Alasdair McKee Award 2026 winner – Clair! 🎉

Each year, we are proud to work in partnership with WorkingRite to receive nominations for the Alasdair McKee Award, recognising young people who have shown outstanding commitment, resilience and personal growth through the WorkingRite Project.

This year’s award is really special as Clair’s journey has come full circle. After completing the WorkingRite programme, Clair is now a valued volunteer in the Mobile Community Shop with Good Food Scotland. Even more special, Clair is the first Alasdair McKee Award winner to have their own tenancy with Glen Oaks!

Clair, your friendly smile and positive attitude brighten the shop every week, and we are so proud of everything you have achieved. Your journey is an inspiration, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. 🌟

A huge thank you also goes to Simon at Good Food Scotland for being such a fantastic mentor to Clair.
