๐Ÿค EDINBURGH KILTWALK โ€” WALKING IN THEIR MEMORY ๐Ÿค

This year, our team will be taking part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise funds for PAPYRUS, a charity dedicated to the prevention of young su***de and to supporting those affected by it.

For this walk, we would like to do something incredibly meaningful.

We would love to create a memorial collage made up of photographs of beloved family members and friends whose lives have sadly been lost to su***de. This collage will be printed onto the T-shirts our team will proudly wear as we complete the Kiltwalk.

We want every step we take to carry their memory with us. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

If you have lost someone to su***de and would feel comfortable allowing us the privilege of including their photograph, please send us a photo privately.

For consent, we kindly ask that you include the following words with your photograph:

โ€œI give permission for my loved oneโ€™s photograph to be included in the memorial collage and printed on the teamโ€™s T-shirt solely for the purpose of the Edinburgh Kiltwalk fundraising event in aid of PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Su***de

We completely understand that grief is deeply personal, and there is absolutely no expectation for anyone to participate. Please only send a photograph if this feels right for you and your family.

For those who do, we promise that every photograph entrusted to us will be treated with dignity, sensitivity and respect.

These aren't just photographs.
They are somebody's child, parent, sibling, partner, friend and whole world. ๐Ÿฉท

We will walk in their memory.
We will raise awareness in their names.
And we will walk in the hope that fewer families have to experience such an unimaginable loss.

Gone from our sight, but carried with us every step of the way. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”SU***DE ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”

SU***DE DOESNโ€™T TAKE ONE LIFE โ€” IT CHANGES HUNDREDS MORE ๐Ÿ’”

We talk about su***de in numbers.

But behind every single number is a name.

A mum.
A dad.
A son.
A daughter.
A brother.
A sister.
A partner.
A best friend.

And standing behind that person is a family whose lives may never be the same again.

Across the UK, the su***de figures from the last five years are devastating.

2020 โ€” thousands of lives lost.
2021 โ€” thousands more.
2022 โ€” thousands more.
2023 โ€” thousands more.
2024 โ€” thousands more.

In England and Wales alone, 28,708 su***des were registered between 2020 and 2024.

Add Scotland and Northern Ireland and we are talking about well over 30,000 lives lost in just five years.

Stop for a moment and think about that.

More than 30,000 empty seats at dinner tables.

More than 30,000 families receiving news that no family should ever have to hear.

Parents burying their children.

Children growing up without a mum or dad.

Brothers and sisters wondering if there was something they could have said.

Partners reaching across an empty bed.

Friends reading old messages just to feel close to someone they would give anything to speak to one more time.

And the devastation doesnโ€™t end with the funeral.

Su***de leaves questions that may never be answered.

Why?

What did I miss?

Could I have done more?

Why didnโ€™t they tell me?

Those questions can stay with families for years.

Research has suggested that as many as 135 people can be affected to some degree by a single su***de.

Think about the potential ripple effect of more than 30,000 deaths.

This is why su***de prevention cannot simply be a slogan, a poster or something we talk about once a year.

We need accessible mental-health services.

We need people to be taken seriously before they reach crisis point.

We need shorter waiting times.

We need proper support for families who are terrified of losing someone they love.

And we desperately need support for the families left behind after su***de.

Most importantly, we need to start asking people:

โ€œAre you really OK?โ€

And then be prepared to stay and listen to the answer.

Because behind every su***de statistic was a human being who mattered.

Someone loved them.
Someone misses them.
Someone would give anything to have them back.

Su***de doesnโ€™t just take a life.

It leaves a lifetime of heartbreak behind. ๐Ÿ’”

Please talk.
Please listen.
Please check on the people who go quiet.

And please remember:

THEY ARE NOT STATISTICS.
THEY ARE SOMEONEโ€™S CHILD.
SOMEONEโ€™S FAMILY.
SOMEONEโ€™S WHOLE WORLD. โค๏ธ

โŒโŒโŒโŒCONVICTED โŒโŒโŒโŒ

Ahmed is originally from Syria, and is currently here with no visa!!!!

This one was a very long time coming , handed into police Scotland on the 2nd of February 2022 but never picked up,

We located him and he was stung by Kazz on the 26th July 2023.

We never stop looking for them ๐Ÿ‘€

So after taking it to trial Amed was found guilty but the jury! ๐Ÿ‘Œ

So at the cost of us tax payer Amed had 2 no shows at court appearances, 2 solicitors, 4 interpreters, 3 deferred sentence hearings ๐Ÿคฌ

Ahmed turned up to court today in the same cocky , disrespectful manner displaying rude hand gestures that he has all the way through.

Amed left the court Tagged and a convicted s*x offender !!

Massive well done to our Angie Decoy on your persistence in seeing him face the consequences of his vile actions. ๐Ÿฉท

Huge shout out to our amazing team that attended ever court hearing and supporting Angie through this very long drawn out trial ! You guys are the best ๐Ÿฉถ

๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–คENOUGH IS ENOUGH LISTEN UP AND LISTEN GOOD๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค

This may not be a popular post, but it is an honest one, written straight from the heart and shaped by my own experiences as a woman born and raised in Scotland.

For almost a decade, I have dedicated my time to helping vulnerable people from all walks of life. Most who know me know that i work quietly in this community and dont get involved in any drama whatsoever, i came here to protect children from predators, but that is why what Iโ€™m about to speak of matters so deeply to me.
Before anyone rushes to judge or label me, please understand this this is not a racist, discriminatory, or political post. It is about the safety of our communities, the wellbeing of our families, and the fear that many people now feel in the places they call home.

We should be able to have respectful, honest conversations about public safety without immediately assuming hatred or prejudice. My views come from years of lived experience, compassion for others, and a genuine desire to see Scotland remain both a welcoming and a safe place for everyone.
I work full-time during the day, i pay my taxes, and for over 10 year have spent my nights volunteering in one of Scotlands biggest cities, dedicating thousands of hours to feeding homeless people, veterans, drug addicts, s*x workers ,supporting the most vulnerable people in our society, and helping families living in extreme poverty.

Throughout the COVID pandemic, I was hands on every night every week, preparing food in my own kitchen and then out helping distribute more than 25,000 three course hot meals, along with clothing, toiletries, and essential household goods.

Our door was always open to people of every nationality, without exception. I have never believed that humanity should be defined by a passport. However, compassion should never mean ignoring the difference between those who come here lawfully, respectfully, and genuine children and families in need, and those who enter illegally or abuse the kindness and safety of the communities that welcome them!!!

Iโ€™ve stood beside people battling addiction when many others turned their backs. Iโ€™ve sat with people during hospital admissions, supported them through the darkest moments of their lives, administered naloxone to save lives from opioid overdoses, and challenged public authorities to demand better treatment and equality for those society often forgets. Because every single one of them is someoneโ€™s son, daughter, mother, father, brother or sister.

I set out to do this because so many public services across Scotland, and the wider UK and Ireland, are stretched beyond breaking point. The reality is that ordinary people are having to step in to fill gaps that should never have existed in the first place. I do it because I care deeply about protecting our people.

Communities are increasingly being held together by volunteers as essential public services struggle to cope. Meanwhile, many people feel that politicians continue to permit further migration into a country whose public services are already under immense pressure, including people who have entered illegally and others who have not yet been fully vetted. I am not suprised it has now passed breaking point and somthing MUST change!

In all my years of volunteering on the streets, I never once felt unsafe or feared for my life

THAT HAS NOW CHANGED!!!!!!

I regularly travel alone by rail to attend court hearings and team meetings. I have watched so many news reports of the attacks and SA happening everywhere and it alarms me . However the recent reports of violent crime and s*xual assaults in and around Glasgow including two separate incidents on local train services that I have personally used have left even me for the first time ever feeling extremly anxious about travelling alone.
Over recent months, repeated reports of violent offences and s*xual assaults have left many people questioning how safe our communities really are. Men,Women, teens should all be able to travel and walk home without fear. Children should be free to play safely. Every person deserves to feel secure in their own community, and no one should feel afraid simply for going about their daily life. And the sad fact is WE DO NOT!!!!

We simply cannot allow this growing crisis to continue, and we will not sit quietly while our governments continue to ignore such serious concerns about criminal behaviour, regardless of who commits it.

When violent incidents occur, when images and videos circulate showing groups carrying weapons such as Machetes or intimidating and hitting people in our city centres and local communities, when reports of s3xual assaults emerge in broad daylight, and when thugs openly deal drugs on our busiest street corners to the point that even our own homeless people are afraid to approach them, afraid to sleep, public are scared to walk around shopping in their own towns. The people are entitled to ask serious questions.

Public safety must come before political correctness, and those who commit crimes should face the full force of the law, including deportation.Likewise, people are entitled to question whether government policies are working.

Many Scots are struggling to access housing, healthcare, and support services while feeling that resources are under enormous pressure and thats putting it mildly.

Meanwhile you have an illegal immigrant (who by his own admission under oath i might add) is now another convicted s3x offender, turning up at court suited and booted, with two brand new mobile phones in hand. Mocking our system by pretending to be gay so not to be sent home and pretending to be unable to speak English(left court with his girlfriend shouting at the team in perfect English),costing our tax payers in 3 different interpreters, legal aid, multiple social service reports(time wasting) and displaying utter disrespect to the country that pays for him.Making a complete mockery of us! John Swinney says " Scotland is proud to welcome refugees" that doesn't extend to criminals, rapists, thugs, drug dealers!

I have dedicated years of my life to helping people, regardless of their background, nationality, or circumstances, and I will continue to do so. But compassion should never require silence, and kindness should never come at the expense of public safety.

Whilst Scotland may remain welcoming to those who genuinely seek peace, opportunity, and protection. We will stand firm against violence, exploitation, and criminality in all its forms. We owe that to every law-abiding person who calls this country home.
This isnโ€™t about hate. It isnโ€™t about politics. Itโ€™s about protecting our communities, safeguarding our children, supporting victims, and ensuring that everyone can live, work, and walk our streets without fear. If we cannot have honest conversations about the challenges we face today, we cannot build a safer Scotland for tomorrow. This must change now!!!

WE NEED ACTION NOW!!!!!
