🏆 NATIONAL YOUTH WORK AWARDS 2026 🏆
What an incredible evening at the National Youth Work Awards on Wednesday night.
We are immensely proud to share that Toryglen Community Youth Project SCIO were recognised as finalists for Team of the Year, whilst our very own John McGregor was recognised as a finalist for Volunteer Youth Worker of the Year.
To be recognised on a national stage alongside so many inspiring individuals and organisations from across Scotland is a huge achievement in itself, and one that everyone connected to TCYP should be proud of.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to YouthLink Scotland for the recognition, support, and for delivering such a fantastic event celebrating the very best of youth work across the country.
Most importantly, we want to thank every child and young person who attends our activities. You are the reason we do what we do. Every session, conversation, achievement, challenge overcome, smile, and success story belongs to you. The trust you place in us, and the opportunity you give us to be part of your journey, is something we never take for granted.
A special congratulations also goes to John. His journey from participant to volunteer, and now a nationally recognised finalist, is a powerful example of what can happen when young people are given opportunities, encouragement, and people who believe in them.
Finally, thank you to our staff, volunteers, trustees, parents, carers, partners, and supporters. This recognition belongs to all of you.
We may have finished as finalists this year, but we leave feeling incredibly proud, motivated, and excited for what comes next.
The future is bright for Toryglen. 💙
