🎉Gartcosh, what an afternoon! 🎉Thank you all for coming along to open the new Memorial Park in style! 📸 Feel free to share any pics you took!
We have lots of “Thank yous” to say to all those who made the Park project possible as well as helping us put on a very special Grand opening yesterday…

💛To all our Directors, Park opening sub committee and additional volunteers, namely: Karen, Carol, Lesley, Joe, Liz, Eilidh, Magda, Liz, Ann Marie, Zoe and Luke.
🎶 To our musicians Harry Fairchild and Louise Ward Music who really made the atmosphere special
🌈 Rainbow Twisters for the amazing spray tattoos
🕹️Gaming Van UK Ltd- Mobile Gaming events safe to say this was a hit!
🎈Jump4fun bouncy castle hire for the inflatables - thank you Jamie for all your help!
Cllr Greg Lennon for cutting the ribbon (and helping on the food stand!) and Rev. Dave Slater for getting roped in to do the honours!
🪎 We were having so much fun we didn’t get a chance to do the prize draw so keep an eye on here tomorrow for the WINNERS announcement!

💛 NLC Justice Services who helped with path laying, built the boat and car and made the picnic tables. They have also been cutting the grass.
💛 Coalfields Regeneration Trust - Scotland who have been of monumental help with community consultation and creating our Local Place Plan
💛HMRC Crime Campus staff for donating the 3 benches in memory of their colleagues
