A big thank you to Ross Greer - Scottish Greens for lodging this motion in The Scottish Parliament congratulating Sikyong Penpa Tsering on being elected for a second term and sending best wishes to the Kashag.

The whole team here at Tibet Solidarity send our own congratulations to the Sikyong, the new Kalons, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker and all the MPs. Special congratulations to Dolma Tsering Teykhang who is the first woman to be elected to the post of Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.

On 17 May 1995, a 6-year-old Tibetan boy became the world’s youngest political prisoner. Gedhun Choekyi Nyima was kidnapped by the Chinese Government after being recognised as the 11th Panchen Lama. He has now been missing for 31 years. Join the virtual protest and tell China to release him. 🔗 link in comments
