We’ve been thinking deeply about accessibility, inclusion, and how we can make sure more families are able to access support when they need it most.

That’s why we’re so pleased to share that our 8-week Trauma Informed Digital Programme will now be offered on a donate-what-you-can basis.

We know that many organisations are carrying huge pressures financially, emotionally, and mentally. We never want cost to be the reason someone can’t offer this support to the families they serve.

If your organisation is able to contribute financially towards the programme, that helps us continue offering our workshops and support. If you can’t, you are still welcome to access this.

This has never been about profit. It’s about reaching families, reducing isolation, building connection, and helping parents and carers feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Every family deserves to live in Love instead of Fear. ❤️

Restocked for the second time. 📚

I was getting seriously fed up looking at piles of boxes everywhere, so I finally got them all up on the shelves in my office. And honestly… seeing them sitting there properly feels a little bit surreal.

Thank you to everyone who has bought, shared, recommended, or supported Trauma Informed Parenting in Action so far. It really does mean the world.

From Fear to Love Wins Eurovision 2026

Last night, Europe didn’t just crown a Eurovision winner.

It crowned a message. ❤️

Bulgaria’s Eurovision 2026 winner, DARA, took the title with her powerful song Bangaranga — a performance rooted in the idea of choosing love over fear.

Inspired by the ancient Bulgarian kukeri tradition, where masked performers make noise and wear bells to drive away evil spirits, the performance was a symbolic battle against modern demons: anxiety, shame, self-doubt, overwhelm and inner chaos.

And perhaps that is why the song connected with so many people.

Because underneath the lights, costumes and spectacle was something deeply human. A reminder that many of us are fighting battles inside ourselves every day.

DARA described Bangaranga as:
“The moment you choose love over fear. Your higher self stepping forward — stronger than anxiety, doubt, shame and inner chaos.”

I cant help but think about how closely this aligns with trauma informed practice.

So much of human behaviour is fear-driven.

Children’s behaviours.
Parent reactions.
Relationship conflict.
Our own shutdown, anger, defensiveness or need for control.

When people feel unsafe emotionally, physically or relationally, fear takes over the brain and body. We move into survival mode.

Trauma informed parenting asks us to pause and see behaviour differently. To look beneath the surface and ask:
“What is happening here?”
rather than
“What is wrong with you?”

It asks us to move from fear to love.

Not permissiveness. Not perfection. But connection, curiosity, compassion and emotional safety.

And perhaps that’s why this Eurovision performance resonated so deeply.

Because in a world that often feels loud, divided and dysregulated, people are longing for hope. For authenticity. For healing. For connection.

The idea that we can face the chaos within us and still choose love is powerful.

Maybe that is the real magic of Bangaranga.

Not just that it won Eurovision.

But that a message about healing, empowerment and overcoming fear reached millions of people across the world in one unforgettable moment. ❤️
