Last night, our Thursday team had a very special visit from a very magical mermaid! 🧜‍♀️✨

We had the joy of bringing Princess Ariel around the wards to meet all the wonderful children and bring a splash of magic to the hospital 🌊👑

And a very special message from Ariel herself:

“Thank you so much to all the wonderful princes and princesses I met on the wards! I had the most amazing time meeting you all!” 👑🫶

Thank you for making the evening so magical, Ariel! 🍭💫

🍭 QUIZ NIGHT FUNDRAISER! 🍭

A fantastic visit from Wendy, our UK Trustee from Radio Lollipop Birmingham! ❤️🍭

Wendy joined us in Glasgow and got to see our amazing Tuesday team volunteers in action, before taking part in one of our LolliTrollie parties with the children. 🎉

There were plenty of smiles, fun and, of course, lots of music requests with ABBA proving to be the firm favourite! 🎶💃🕺🏽

It was wonderful to showcase the brilliant work our Glasgow volunteers do every week and to spend time sharing the Radio Lollipop magic together.

A huge thank you to Wendy for visiting and to our fantastic volunteers for everything they do for the children and families at the hospital!

🌟 Thank you for an Incredible 26 Years Andy Gray at Radio Lollipop Glasgow - you will be missed 🌟

Today, we want to take a very special moment to celebrate someone who has given an extraordinary 26 years of care, comfort, play and entertainment to Radio Lollipop Glasgow — Andy Gray. ❤️📻

For over 26 years, Andy has given his time completely voluntarily, making an incredible difference to the lives of so many children and families in hospital. And what a contribution it has been.

Andy has spent 12 years as Chair of Radio Lollipop in Glasgow before becoming a Radio Lollipop UK Trustee for the past 10 years giving so much of his time, energy and heart to helping Radio Lollipop Glasgow be the very special service that it is today.

And of course, who could forget Andy’s amazing radio shows! 🎙️🎶 From the music and laughter to meeting some famous faces along the way, Andy has created countless memories and most importantly brought smiles and moments of happiness to so many children during their time in hospital.

After 26 incredible years, Andy is now beginning to take a step back from his Radio Lollipop journey and make more time for his own family. ❤️ And with four grandchildren to keep him busy, we think he’s going to have plenty to fill his time!

While we’re sad to see him stepping away from the charity he has given so much to, we’re also incredibly proud and grateful for everything he has achieved.

Radio Lollipop is completely powered by volunteers and Andy has given 26 years of his time, energy and heart to making a difference.

So Andy, from all of us at Radio Lollipop in Glasgow, THANK YOU. ❤️

Continuing Jack and Charlie’s 6-month in hospital and birthday celebrations, our Tuesday team had another fantastic visit up on the wards 🍭✨

It was lovely to spend more time celebrating these special milestones together, with plenty of fun, laughter and smiles along the way 💛🎉

We’re so grateful to be able to share these memorable moments with the amazing children and families we meet each week. 🎈

Our Monday team had a very special evening up on the wards 🍭✨

We had the pleasure of celebrating Jack’s 6-months in hospital, as well as Charlie’s birthday. 🎉💛 The celebrations included plenty of smiles, music, and guitars, making it a night to remember for everyone.

We’re so grateful to be able to share these special moments with the amazing children and families we meet each week. Happy Birthday, Charlie, and we’re sending lots of love to Jack! 🎸🎈

A huge congratulations to our wonderful Chair, Sarah, who had the incredible honour of attending the Royal Garden Party in recognition of her dedication to volunteering with our charity. 👑🌿🍭

This invitation is a well-deserved recognition of Sarah’s commitment, passion and the countless hours she has devoted to supporting our volunteers, patients and community. We are so proud to see her hard work celebrated in such a special way.☀️🫶

Our Tuesday team had a brilliant time up on the wards with Lucas 🍭✨

We turned up the music and enjoyed a fun-filled karaoke session together, with plenty of singing, laughter, and smiles all around 🎤🎶💛

Thank you, Lucas, for making it such a fantastic visit — we loved every minute of it! 🌟
