Our Peer Mentor L braved sharing her experience with a modern studies class from Hutchesons' Grammar School when they visited us recently. Great to see the young people engage with the service and ask questions on challenging topics like rehabilitation.

We never take it for granted that people will share their story and in this case the response from the listeners was impactful & promoted a lot of thought

Caroline is a peer mentor with us and works alongside our family worker as well as using her many talents to help others.

11 years of walking for recovery at HMP Barlinnie 💜

What a day.
A massive thank you to SPS for continuing to champion recovery and helping us make it visible, accessible and attractive.

To our friends and partners at Celtic FC Foundation, Men Matter, CrossReach, The Croft and Waverley Care, thank you for walking alongside us. A massive thanks to Cha Cairns for coming along as our guest speaker.

To the SPS staff who support the men day in, day out, thank you for never giving up.

And most importantly, to every resident who walked today: every step was a step towards a different direction. Thank you for trusting us to walk beside you.

Today The National Records of Scotland reported 1,133 drug-related deaths in Scotland in 2025. 116 more people died than the year before, a heartbreaking number of lives lost.

We can tell you their their names,
We see their faces,
We think of our time with them,
We care for their families,
We remember their stories, and not just the sad parts

The Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership Freed Up event involves a range of recovery partners and is a great opportunity to hear recovery stories, Music, find out about organisations and enjoy fun with your family.

We have a wee slot on the bill where musicians from our friends at Fèis Phàislig will lead us for a few ceilidh dances 🎶🎵🎶
