What a fantastic afternoon we had at Club Champs & BBQ, and we were so lucky with the weather!

There were lots of great matches, with everyone playing brilliantly and helping to create a wonderful atmosphere around the courts.

A huge thank you to Aidan for preparing and cooking the BBQ, and to all the volunteers who helped throughout the day. Thanks also to everyone who donated the delicious home bakes - they were very much appreciated!

We are delighted to announce that we raised £376 towards our defibrillator project. Thank you all for your generosity and support. Days like this really show what a fantastic community we have. ❤️

What a way to finish the season for Newlands Park Community Tennis Centre! 🎾💙

A fantastic night for the club, with both our Men’s 1st Team and Women’s Team winning their final matches of the season.

🏆 Men’s 1st Team
An outstanding 12-0 away victory over Milngavie secures a strong 3rd-place finish in the league. We very narrowly miss out on promotion, but it’s been a superb season. Huge congratulations to everyone who has represented the team throughout the campaign.

Beginner/Improver sessions on Sunday 11-12 & 12-1

Great to see our beginner session fully booked! Coach Stephen spent 10 minutes with each group before letting everyone put their new skills into practice. We wrapped up with a game of Gas Express—no pressure, plenty of laughs, and lots of fun! 😄

This was followed by our Improver Session, which still has spaces available. If you're thinking about taking the next step, don't be put off—it’s not as difficult as you might think, and it's a great way to build your confidence and develop your game.
