What a buzz!

We were delighted to support the Fun day at the Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre as part of our 50th Anniversary. We've not seen the Centre (and surrounding areas) so busy and filled with a wide range of fabulous, fun and free activities.

Well done to The Halliday Foundation and everyone else involved and a big massive thank you to all of our tenants who came along with the rest of the community to enjoy the day.

What a transformation!!! A week ago, this was a neglected space that had become forgotten and a blight on the local area. The Halliday Foundation approached us recently with the idea of reclaiming the space for community use, and their dedicated corporate volunteers have transformed it into an area that can be used for outdoor activities in just a few days!

Meet Alan Murphy, our new Maintenance Officer:

I am really excited to be joining Reidvale as a Maintenance Officer. Having worked in social housing for a number of years, I understand the positive impact that good quality homes and responsive maintenance services can have on people's lives, and I am looking forward to playing my part in delivering that for tenants.

Many of you will already know Steven Hamilton from his time as Caretaker.

Steven’s connection with Reidvale goes back many years. He has now moved into his new role as Estate Officer and will be out and about across Reidvale, meeting tenants and helping to keep closes, backcourts and shared spaces looked after.

Steven is looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones and supporting the local area in this new role.

Please say hello if you see him out and about.

A warm welcome to three new members of the Reidvale team.

Joshua MacKenzie has joined us as Receptionist, so many tenants and visitors will get to know him through the office, phone calls and day-to-day enquiries.

We’re also welcoming Layla Ferguson and Zosia Chamczyk, who have joined us as Maintenance Assistants. They will support our maintenance service and help keep repairs and property work moving for tenants.

Please say hello if you see Joshua, Layla or Zosia in the office or out and about locally.

Welcome to Reidvale.

🌿 Reidvale in Bloom is now open

Have you been looking after your front or back garden this summer?

Whether it’s a few planters, a shared close garden, flowers you’ve cared for over the years, or a neighbour who always keeps the garden looking good, we’d like to hear from you.

You can enter as an individual or as a close.

To take part:

Phone Reidvale on 0141 554 2406
We’ll arrange a visit to photograph the garden
The photos will go to our judging panel

Gardens will be judged on creativity, effort and overall impact.

Please remember that hanging baskets or ornaments should not be fixed to the building itself.

Give us a call if you’d like to enter or nominate a neighbour.
