Social Enterprise Academy
Our ‘Community Leadership’ group had the pleasure of welcoming Elizabeth, a representative from the ‘Social Enterprise Academy’ into school on Friday.
She met with children from across P1-7 to discuss the difference between a business and a charity before explaining what a social enterprise is.
From sharing her own experiences and her expertise in this area, she then worked with the children to support them in identifying a social concern in our area before inspiring them to come up with a social enterprise idea that we can run at DBPS!
Although in the early stages, we are very excited about what this will involve. Watch this space!
