This week’s studio snippets 😀

I finally started a new collection of coastal themed mixed media paintings. I’m using hand printed collage papers, other papers including sheet music & layers & layers of paint, inspiration coming from my time in Cromarty this summer.

The light in the studio today was just beautiful and there was a lovely gentle buzz from my studio mates all getting on with their own creative pursuits. I feel very lucky to have found this place 🙌🏻

I am ever so slightly obsessed with my cat even though he can be a complete menace at times. The local mouse population must have been decimated recently that’s all I can say 😬

It’s that time again! The Big Art Show in Paisley - really worth a visit to see a huge variety of art & to support local artists & the charity that organises it all. A couple of my pieces are in there somewhere😁.

I think the Artemis mission & crew are giving people life at the moment - a beacon of hope & positivity in a maelstrom of unrest, hate, division and war that’s wreaking havoc on our one & only planet. Holding on to a hope (delusional?) that more forward thinking, open minded & enlightened times can be ours again in the future - at some point. 🙌🏻
