The residents from Maude Close enjoyed a fantastic day out at Five Sisters Zoo in West Lothian, making the most of the beautiful weather.

There were lots of amazing animals to see, although many were taking shelter from the heat in their indoor enclosures!

We’re pleased to share some photos from the day of some of the wonderful animals they spotted.

To round off the trip, everyone stopped at a lovely, air conditioned Starbucks for a well earned refreshment before heading home. ☕❄️

Emma recently enjoyed a fantastic holiday in beautiful Northern Ireland, staying at the lovely Newton Lodge in Castlewellan. With wall to wall sunshine all week, it was the perfect break.

A visit to the Rose Fair with live music and traditional Irish dancing, exploring the Peace Maze, Butterfly House and gardens, browsing the bustling St George’s Market in Belfast, and spending time in the gorgeous seaside town of Newcastle.

One of the highlights was a visit to the stunning Silent Valley, where Emma enjoyed an accessible walk to the top of the dam and across it, taking in the mountain views. Smoothes to cool down!🥤☀️

A huge thank you to our fantastic staff, Gemma and Jenny, for supporting Emma throughout her holiday and helping make it such a special experience.

We’re delighted to share some of Emma’s favourite moments from her trip. 📸💙

The Maude Close gang swapped slippers for bowling shoes this weekend and headed to the lanes for a few friendly frames 🙌🏽

There were strikes, spares, gutter balls (we won’t name names 😉) and lots of cheering each other on. Most importantly, it was another lovely opportunity to spend time and make memories ❤️

Patrick and Alan had a lovely day out in Dunfermline today ☀️

They wandered through the park, explored the abbey and museum, then strolled down the High Street before stopping for lunch at the Peacock Café. A nice relaxed day before heading back home 😊
