Important programme Somali Community.
On the Saturday 03/04/2021, we started an important programme in the Southside of Glasgow. The programme is similar to the one we've started before in the North and West Side of the city.
This programme involves:
- How to use the Internet in order to apply the universal credit, housing and council tax benefits.
- child tax credits and child benefits and how to fill different types of forms etc.
- the safety use of the Internet and what data protection means.
Because of Covid-19 government guidelines, the programme is one to one by remote learning and is used and taken place on the social media app of what'sup.
The programme will be benefitting by the Somali women from the 75 families in Glasgow of which we distributed computers a while ago.
This project is will undoubtedly make their lives easier.
Our thanks to those who make it possible to happen and generously contributed financial support to it.
Our thanks and gratitude are to all of our volunteers and the community lottery fund who make the project to happen.
Thank you all again.
